Joe Jonas Credits 'Game Of Thrones' For Introducing Him To Sophie Turner

Like the rest of us, Joe Jonas is sad that Game of Thrones is no more and the pop star has a big reason to thank the HBO series.

In a new message on Twitter, the 29-year-old reflected on the long-running series, how it connected him with his wife Sophie Turner, who played Sansa Stark, and gave away a huge spoiler in the midst of the post. "When you realize Game Of Thrones is over vibes.... Congratulations to everyone that worked on this incredible show! life changing television," he captioned a photo of himself. "I have you to thank for introducing me to the incredible Sophie Turner. Long live the Queen Of The North."

As you know, Jonas and Turner made it official when they wed in Las Vegas just hours after the JoBros performed on stage at the 2019 Billboard Music Awards. In another newsworthy item about the couple, Turner recently told The Times that the paie nearly called it quits before they tied the knot. "It was the worst day of our lives. For a second we both had cold feet, and then 24 hours later, we were both like, 'Never mind,'" she told the publication.

Surprisingly, the two didn't meet each other via their celebrity. They initially followed each other on social media, before news of their relationship broke in December 2016. "We had a lot of mutual friends, and they'd been trying to introduce us for a long time," Turner told Harpers Bazaar in March 2019. "We were following each other on Instagram and he direct-messaged me one fine day, out of the blue."
