The first-ever BravoCon featured many of your favorite "Bravo-lebrities" from some of their most popular shows — including several from Below Deck and Below Deck Med. Throughout the weekend, a lot of the series' crew made appearances and spoke during panels, as well as spent time with superfans and answered their burning questions.
The weekend's panels — titled "Get Nauti" — featured favorites like Captain Lee Rosbach, Captain Sandy Yawn, Chief stew Kate Chastain, João Franco, and Colin Macy-O'Toole, in addition to the show's producer Nadine Rajabi. The yachties divulged some behind-the-scenes secrets of the show, like the fact that João and Colin have been given the title of "Cleanest Cabin" more than once, and where additional cameras have been added to catch some of your favorite moments.
The cast also took a look back on the show's biggest scenes, one of them being Chef Mila Kolomeitseva's infamous steak-licking incident. Nadine explained that they didn't catch it right away, and that it was an editor's job to watch all the surveillance footage that was captured during his lunch break, and that's when the situation came to light. It was then that the show's producers and editors had to determine if the steak was being licked or sniffed.
During the Hospitality From The High Seas panel, Chef Ben Robinson and Kate Chastain made an appearance to show fans how to put together a "fiesta" themed meal. While Chastain set up a colorful tablescape using Corona bottles for flower vases and mini sombreros at place settings, Robinson demonstrated how to properly make the fanciest serving of nachos you've ever seen (he even chopped tomatoes blindfolded!), after talking about the Chef Mila taco/nacho debacle.
