Mick Fleetwood, a founding member of "one of the most successful rock bands of all time," is "completely dyslexic."

The beloved drummer made history with Fleetwood Mac, gifting the world hits like "Dreams," "Everywhere," "The Chain," and "Go Your Own Way," to name only a few timeless tracks that shaped a generation and continue to inspire artists and listeners across the globe.

A few years ago, Fleetwood appeared on Alec Baldwin's podcast, Here's The Thing with Alec Baldwin, and spoke about how "not one iota of any academic prowess" led him to the drums.

"I would say I started hitting furniture when I was about eight," he shared.

Everything changed when he became a teenager and started drumming "on a serious level" while still admittedly "blundering" through it.

"I would think that, first of all, being completely on some shape or form, completely dyslexic, and had not one iota of any academic prowess whatsoever at school. I still don't know my alphabet. A lot of people say, 'You're kidding me.' I said, 'Actually, I sort of really don't know what I'm doing, to tell you the real truth.' Then they start arguing with you and go, 'How can you do that? You're full of shit?' I said, 'No, no, it just comes out. I have no idea.' So I blundered into it."
