It's almost that college decision making time!
Future University of Southern California students from families with an annual household income of $80,000 or less will be able to attend USC tuition-free.
Here's how it will go. The plan will be phased at the Los Angeles private college starting with the first-year students entering in Fall 2020 and Spring 2021 according to a press release.
They are making this move in the attempt to draw students with more socio-economic diversity competing with both the University of California system and financial aid programs.
According to Dr. Folt who is U.S.C's president, she stated “People work so hard to have a house and we didn’t want that to count against their chances of having their kids going to the school.”
