A 9-year-old Redondo Beach girl cried for joy when her mother shared with her that should would be finally returning back to school in a heartwarming video! It's been almost a full year since schools throughout Southern California have closed for nearly a year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Now, many are starting to open as the region's new daily case counts and hospitalizations decline enough to meet state thresholds for reopening schools.
