We all know that in his heart, Carl Winslow loved Steve Urkel...even though on the surface he couldn't stand him. But, in a new interview with Entertainment Tonight, Reginald VelJohnson, who played the lovable dad Carl Winslow in Family Matters, admitted that Jaleel White was sometimes difficult to work with. The same sentiment was revealed by by Mrs. Winslow, played by Jo Marie Payton who apparently said in an interview that at one point, Jaleel wanted to "physically fight" her!
By the way, did you know Family Matters is actually a spinoff? Carl and Harriett Winslow were actually characters on Perfect Strangers!
