#TRENDING 5/12/25: Best and Worst Cities for Allergies

Allergy Awareness Month: The 10 Best and Worst Cities for Allergies

It's Allergy Awareness Month, and you might want to pop a pill before you visit any of THESE cities right now . . .

The Asthma and Allergy Foundation ranked the top 100 cities in America based on how much coughing, sneezing, and wheezing they can cause. And the worst city for allergies is . . . Wichita, Kansas.

They based it on three things: Pollen counts . . . sales of allergy meds . . . and how easy it is to get an appointment with an allergy specialist.

The 10 most challenging places to have allergies are: Wichita, Kansas . . . New Orleans . . . Oklahoma City . . . Tulsa . . . Memphis . . . Little Rock, Arkansas . . . Raleigh, North Carolina . . . Richmond, Virginia . . . Greenville, South Carolina . . . and Greensboro, North Carolina.

At the other end of the list, the BEST city for allergies is Boston. Pollen counts are typically lower, and it's fairly easy to see a doctor.

 The 10 best cities for allergies are: Boston . . . Salt Lake City . . . Akron, Ohio . . . San Diego . . . Cleveland . . . Boise . . . Provo, Utah . . . Madison, Wisconsin . . . Ogden, Utah . . . and Denver, Colorado.

(Everything's coming up Utah lately. That "best" list had three cities in Utah, and it was also just named the best state in America by "U.S. News & World Report" last week.)
